The actor pulls a muscle on the set of his upcoming film, throwing the shoot out of gear
The shoot of Bejoy Nambiar’s Wazir (earlier titled Do) came to a grinding halt in Sewri on Wednesday. There was no shoot for the next two days.
Farhan Akhtar who plays an ATS cop in the film pulled a muscle while performing a stunt.
A source from the set, where the actor injured himself, told SpotboyE.com, “Farhan arrived on the set at 6pm. He was not feeling two well. He complained of slight pain in his left arm. The pain aggravated when he did an action scene after an hour.”
When contacted, Nambiar said, Yeah, we couldn't shoot on Thursday and Friday. Farhan called me to say that his left arm had swollen and it wasn't moving. He said he was in acute pain. So, I decided to rest him for two days.
Written and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Wazir is a thriller starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Farhan.
The film, which has been shot mainly in Mumbai and Delhi, is expected to hit the theatres in mid-2015.
