That's the buzz since evening, and it was compounded by Farhan's visit to Aamir Khan's residence at Carter Road (Bandra, Mumbai). The whispers became louder because Farhan was accompanied by his father Javed Akhtar who wrote the lyrics of Dil Chahta Hai.
Or were the tri discussing some other film?
For those who've come in late, Farhan had told a section of the media sometime ago: "No, I would never want to go back to Akash, Sameer and Siddharth's world. In 2001, the story of friendship felt natural to me." Has Farhan had a change of heart?
It may also be recalled that rumour had it that all was not well between Farhan and Aamir after Aamir refused Excel's time-travel drama (which now stars Siddharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif)? Ditto for the equation between Farhan and Saif after the Nawab of Pataudi turned down Excel's Mr Chaalu (which now stars Fawad Khan and Priyanka Chopra). Equations seem to have changed recently. Remains to be seen if Aamir and Saif will soon collaborate with Farhan on a film again.
