Fighter: Hrithik Roshan And Deepika Padukone Starrer To Be Mounted On A Budget Of Rs 250 Crores- Reports
Siddharth Anand helmed Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone to be backed with a budget of Rs. 250 crores, will go on floors by December 2021
As Hrithik Roshan turned a year old on January 10, he announced his third venture with director Siddharth Anand after Bang Bang and WAR, titled Fighter starring Deepika Padukone as the female lead. Now as per reports in Pinkvilla, the portal has revealed all the deets about its plot, shooting schedule and budget as well. As per reports, the film will be produced on the budget of Rs. 250 crores, thus making the film one of the costliest produced Hindi films.
The source informed, “Sid is planning to make it on a budget of Rs 250 crore, thereby making it one of the costliest and biggest action films to have come out of Bollywood. The Hindi film industry has not seen big scale action thriller against the backdrop of Indian Airforce for a while now, and that’s exactly the space that Hrithik and Sid are trying to explore.” The film is an action thriller which will see fight sequences, chases and with the story plot filled with nationalism, romance and emotions.
Adding further the source said, “Siddharth and Hrithik have been planning to make Fighter for a while now, in fact, it’s a subject they were supposed to collaborate on before War. It’s a big scale a real action thriller, with Hrithik playing the character of an air force pilot for the first time in his career. Sid has envisioned the story on a massive scale, with areal fight scenes, chases and a lot more, backed with a storyline with an undercurrent of nationalism, romance and emotions.” While Hrithik will play pilot on-screen, makers have kept Deepika Padukone’s role under wraps.

The film will go on floors in December 2021, after Siddharth Anand wraps up Pathan in June 2021 followed by its Diwali release. Fighter is said to release on September 30, 2022.
