Filhaal 2: Nupur Sanon Reveals The Advice That Sister Kriti Sanon Gave Her About Akshay Kumar- EXCLUSIVE
Nupur Sanon, who features with Akshay Kumar in the recently released music video of Filhaal 2, shares the advice that sister Kriti Sanon gave her about Akshay
Nupur Sanon recently featured in the music video of B Praak’s Filhaal 2, after having worked in the first instalment of it a year and a half before, both times with Akshay Kumar opposite her. Both the videos depicted a tragic love story between the two characters portrayed by Nupur and Akshay.
Kriti Sanon, Nupur’s sister, has already worked with Akshay in Housefull 4 and is reuniting with him in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Bachchan Pandey that also features Jacqueline Fernandez. So, one might assume that Kriti must have given some advice to her sister before she went on to do her first project in showbiz with Khiladi Kumar himself.
When asked about it, Nupur responds, “Kriti had already shot for some portions with Akshay sir for Housefull 4 before I had to shoot for Filhaal and I remember going to Kriti the night before I was to fly off for the shoot. I couldn’t sleep at all and I went to her room and told her that I was feeling very scared.”
Nupur then goes on to reveal the words of wisdom that her sister imparted to her to get her ready. “I asked Kriti how was Akshay sir and how should I behave around him. Having only seen and observed him through the public eye, I didn’t know how to behave around him and felt intimidated. But Kriti told me that he is really easy to work with so she told me not to stress at all. She asked me to be the way I am, my bindaas self, as he was like that only. She then added that he is from Delhi and a Punjabi so that made me feel better and helped me connect with him better too,” she reveals.
Filhaal marked Nupur’s first screen appearance and it was released in November 2019 amidst overwhelming response and just last month, the video crossed one billion views on YouTube. Its success gave way to a sequel to the music video, Filhaal 2, that was released recently and also features Ammy Virk. The video has already crossed 160 million views in just seven days of its release.
