Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma Moves Out Of Mumbai; Shifts His Base To Goa-REPORT
The latest report stated that filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who has a suburban office building in Mumbai, is not based in the city anymore. As per the report, RGV has moved out of Mumbai. Read the details!
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is on such Bollywood director who never shies away from expressing his thoughts and opinions. He stands strong in support of other members of the film industry and does not fear in speaking out the truth in a person’s defence. The filmmaker, who was spending most of his Coronavirus lockdown days in Hyderabad has now moved out of the city. The latest report stated that although the RGV has a suburban office building in the city of dreams, he is not based in Mumbai anymore.
According to a report in ETimes.com, RGV has chosen the calm of the beach state of Goa over the hustle and bustle of Mumbai. The report stated that Ram Gopal Varma will now come to Mumbai only when it required of him and necessary. The maverick filmmaker confirmed the news about him shifting to Goa. And, RGV said, “Goa is best suited for the kind of projects I am looking at. My office 'Factory' is not in Mumbai anymore. I was in Hyderabad for a major part of the lockdown but have shifted out of Mumbai in the past few months."
The filmmaker also revealed that the forced timeout due to the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown changed his perspective. He pointed out how a personal meeting is a thing of the past and how currently, everything is about online meetings. Talking about it further, he said, “Everyone has got used to a different way of communicating; personal meetings are a thing of the past. Everybody is talking and doing meetings on online chats".

Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Varma is currently working on his upcoming horror film titled 12 'o'Clock. Talking about the film, RGV said that he is back with the genre he loves. The film features Mithun Chakraborty playing the role of a psychiatrist. The movie will also see Fllora Saini and Manav Kaul, amongst others.
