Bollywood actress Neena Gupta’s memoir ‘Sach Kahun Toh’ was launched recently. Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan launched the memoir which is an honest tell-all story about Gupta’s life. During an Instagram video chat with Kareena, Gupta opened up about writing the memoir for 20 years. She spoke about how she often wondered if people would be interested in reading it. Now, in the memoir titled Sach Kahun Toh, the National-award winning actress revealed that actor friend and filmmaker Satish Kaushik offered to marry her.
According to Neena Gupta, Satish Kaushik had asked her to not worry if the child is born with dark skin. Neena Gupta shared that Kaushik had told her that she can say the child is his, and then they will get married, so eventually no one will suspect anything. The actress said, “Don’t worry, if the child is born with dark skin, you can just say it’s mine and we’ll get married. Nobody will suspect a thing.”
For the unversed, Neena Gupta was in a relationship with former West Indies cricketer Vivian Richards during the 1980s. Back then, the actress had to face insensitive intrusion from the public for her decision to raise her daughter, designer Masaba Gupta as a single mother.
During the interaction with Kareena, Gupta also discussed ‘loneliness’ and said that besides a few ‘small affairs’, she didn’t really have a companion after moving to Mumbai. Meanwhile, on the work front, Neena Gupta has resumed shooting. She recently took to her Instagram and posted a short video of her walking inside her vanity van.
