Jalebi actress Rhea Chakraborty has been in the news ever since her boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden and untimely demise. The actor passed away on June 14, in his Mumbai apartment and allegedly died by suicide. After SSR’s demise, his father lodged an FIR against Rhea and five others, accusing them of abetment of suicide. Later, with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) probing the drug angle in the SSR death case, Rhea was arrested under the NDPS act. Now, reportedly, filmmakers are set to make a biopic on late Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
According to Mumbai Mirror, actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is currently getting a lot of international coverage. As per the report, many filmmakers are considering a biopic on SSR’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty life, where one documentary based on the actress is also touted to be in the making. The report also stated that apart from the movie or documentary, a publishing house is also planning to publish a book based on a similar topic. Reportedly, the publishing house is hopeful that Rhea will pen a tell-all book, narrating her side of the story.
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested on September 8, and sent to 14-days of judicial custody. The actress was arrested after she was questioned for three days in a row by the NCB. It was recently reported that a Mumbai special court rejected Rhea’s bail plea and extended her judicial custody till October 6.

Apart from Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, SSR’s house manager Samuel Miranda, SSR’s housekeeper Dipesh Sawant, and drug peddlers were arrested by the NCB. So far, actress Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and others were also questioned by the NCB recently, in connection to the drug probe.
