FIR Lodged Against Shilpa Shetty Kundra And Raj Kundra In Rs 1.51 Crore Cheating Case By A Businessman-Report

Another big trouble seems to be pouring in for couple Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra. An FIR has reportedly been registered against them on the complaint by a businessman named Nitin Barai. The FIR was registered on Saturday at Bandra police station. In the complaint, the businessman alleged that back in July 2014, Kaashif Khan, the director of SFL Fitness Company, along with Shilpa and Raj Kundra and others asked him to invest Rs 1.51 crore into the enterprise to earn a profit.
According to a report in PTI, the complainant was assured that the Fitness company will provide him a franchise and open a gym and spa at Hadapsar and Koregaon in neighbouring Pune. But it did not materialise, as per the FIR. The police official mentioned that when Nitin Barai asked for his money back, he was allegedly threatened by the couple.
The Bandra police have reportedly registered the FIR under various Indian Penal Code Sections, including 420 (cheating), 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention). Hindustan Times quoted an officer from Bandra police station as saying, “We have registered a case on the complaint of Barai and have also recorded his full statement. We are now investigating the case and verifying all the documents and bank statements.”
The Bandra Police is currently investigating the case.
Last week, Raj Kundra was spotted for the first time with Shilpa Shetty after being released on bail. The two were seen performing pooja at a temple during their stay in Himachal Pradesh.
In July, this year, Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai police for his alleged connection to production and distribution of pornographic videos through his apps.
