Forbes India's 2019 Celebrity 100 List: Alia Bhatt Beats Deepika Padukone; Only Two Ladies In Top 10
With Indian Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli topping the Forbes India Magazine’s Celebrity 100 list this year, sadly only two women from Bollywood have made it to the Top 10. Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are the only two women to find a mention in the top 10
Forbes India Magazine’s much-anticipated Celebrity 100 list is finally out and it is pretty interesting. The magazine recently released its Celebrity 100 list which sees a reshuffle in the ranking of the stars and some new additions to the list. With Indian Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli topping the Celebrity 100 list this year, only two women of Bollywood have made it to the Top 10. Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are the only two women to make it to the Top 10 of the Celebrity list with their films.
In the Forbes India Magazine Celebrity 100 list, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are the only two to make space for themselves among men. According to the list, while Virat Kohli, Akshay Kumar, and Salman Khan make it to the Top 3 of the list, Deepika Padukone came down to the 10th position as compared to her 4th position in 2018. While actress Alia Bhatt who secured the 12th position in 2018’s list has climbed up to the 8th position in the list with her massive popularity on social media and hit films. Not a single film of Deepika Padukone made it to the theatres this year and hence, she slipped the ladder. While Alia Bhatt is clearly having a wonderful year by securing the 8th position on the list, worry not, Deepika Padukone fans, as the Chhapaak actress has it all sorted out with hubby Ranveer Singh making it to the 7th position in the list. He has jumped up one step as he was in 8th position last year. Ranveer Singh is clearly climbing the ladder, step-by-step. Surprisingly, actress Kriti Sanon and Disha Patani have entered the Forbes India Celebrity List with their successes. Kriti Sanon has secured the 38th Rank, whereas Disha Patani is on the 43rd Rank, thanks to their social media fame and brand endorsements.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli managed to crawl to the first position from the 2nd rank in 2018 list, putting last year’s topper Salman Khan to the third position after Akshay Kumar in the second position.
