Yesterday, Jaya Bachchan spoke in support of the Hindi film industry in the Rajya Sabha yesterday. The veteran actor and Samajwadi Party MP reacted to the remarks made by actor and Lok Sabha member Ravi Kishan and actress Kangana Ranaut related to drugs and Bollywood. After that Kangana might have crossed the line and left a tweet against senior Bachchan in a bad taste. Now, in an interview, Urmila Matondkar blasts Kangana Ranaut and reminds her of the films like Mili, Guddi, Abhimaan that Jaya Bachchan gave to the Hindi film industry. Matondkar hits back at Kangana after she tweeted that she taught ‘feminism’ to the industry.

In an interview with NDTV, actor turned politician, Urmila Matondkar reacted to Kangana Ranaut talking about her teaching feminism to the film industry. As Kangana Ranaut stated in one of her tweets that she is the one who taught feminism to the film industry, Urmila Matondkar reminded the Manikarnika actress about the films like Mili, Guddi, Abhimaan that Jaya Bachchan gave the Hindi film industry. As the actor turned politician speaks out, she said, “When Kangana was not even born, Jaya Bachchan was in the film industry.”

Urmila Matondkar then went on to talk about how Kangana's tweet isn't appropriate and disrespectful to senior actors of the industry. Urmilla finished off her answer by questioning what happened to Kangana's Indian culture where it is taught to respect your elders and not use inappropriate language.

The actor turned politician also spoke about Kangana Ranaut comparing Mumbai to PoK and Taliban. Urmila Matondkar said that calling Mumbai PoK, Taliban is in bad taste. Meanwhile, Urmila Matondkar reacted to Kangana Ranaut’s recent tweet where she mentioned that she is the one who taught feminism to the film industry and that she decorated the industry with women-centric films. Ranaut also stated that whatever she has achieved till date is done out of her hard work, and without anyone serving her opportunities on a plate.
