Gabriella Demetriades On Feeling Comfortable In Her Own Skin; 'I Realised My Hips And Thigh Size Is Normal, Industry's Standard Size Isn't'
Gabriella Demetriades always knew she would do something with fashion.
Arjun Rampal's partner Gabriella Demetriades ventured into modelling at a young age. Apart from being known as a model, she is also an entrepreneur, fashion designer, mother and much more. The Founder of Deme by Gabriella recently talked about all things fashion and also revealed that she wasn't always comfortable in her own skin.
Speaking to Pinkvilla, Gabriella said that she always knew she would do something with fashion. "I grew up around fashion. My mom had a small label," she said. She also revealed that she has an obsession with winter clothes. She added that she also has a fascination for oversized pieces.
Furthermore, she also revealed that she hasn't always been comfortable in her skin. "I used to be conscious about my hips as they were slightly bigger than those of the regular models," she said. However, over time, she realised, "My hips and thigh size is normal and the modelling industry's standard size is not." When asked if she ever steals her beau Arjun Rampal's outfits, she said, "Arjun steals my clothes. Arjun likes his stuff and he doesn't like to share. There are a few jackets that I've moved from his side of the closet to mine."
It was in July 2019, Arjun and Gabriella welcomed a baby boy, whom they named Arik. The couple keeps sharing his adorable moments on Instagram all the time.
