In a case of traumatic abuse, 33-year-old Divya Kotian from Bhayandar East has filed a complaint at Amboli Police Station against choreographer Ganesh Acharya for depriving her from working in the film industry demanding commission from income and forcing her to watch porn videos.

Divya Kotian is an assistant choreographer, member of Indian Film & Television Choreographers Association. As per the complaint, Ganesh Acharya who was elected as a General Secretary of the association used to frequently call Divya at IFTCA office at Andheri Veera Desai road. On Jan 26, 2020, there was an SGM of IFTICA at Raheja Classic.

Divya Kotian reached there to put her points against Ganesh Acharya who was asking for commission on her hard work. As soon as he saw Divya, Ganesh Acharya started screaming on her saying "How dare you come here? You are suspended". Post which Divya explained Ganesh that she is a member of the association, on hearing that, Ganesh got furious and asked his team member Jayashree to slap her. Soon, Jayashri and Preeti Lad started hitting Divya in public. Here is a CCTV footage of the same.
