Gangubai Kathiawadi: Alia Bhatt Is A Tireless Tiger Working Night Shifts To Complete Her Schedule By Month End-EXCLUSIVE
The year 2020 saw the worst that the world could witness. Coronavirus pandemic hit all the nations hard and since then affected countries have announced a lockdown. During this time a lot of offices and workplaces were shut which included film shoots too. Bollywood saw many film projects coming to a halt. One of them was Ali Bhatt starter Gangubai Kathiawadi which is being helmed by maverick Sanjay Leela Bhansali. As the lockdown was eased film shoots too were allowed to proceed. With that Alia Bhatt also resumed her pending work.

Sanjay Leela  Bhansali and Alia Bhatt have been shooting right through October for  Gangubai Kathiawadi. There are no Sunday breaks during this schedule. Says a source close to Bhansali Productions, “Enough time has been lost. The liabilities are multiplying. SLB needs to get on with the  shooting and  complete the current schedule as  soon as possible."

Luckily for Bhansali, Alia has been “professionalism personified.” Says a  source, “Alia is shooting every single night without a break. This is her first night-shoot and her sleeping hours have gone for a toss. But Alia is a tireless tigress.”

During the lockdown a part of the grand set was pulled down before the monsoons, a portion resembling Kamathipura was left untouched so that the team could get back to shooting without any problems. As per several reports, the team has now resumed work with a 50-member crew, including the cast, which will see SLB wrapping up Alia’s scenes.

After Alia wraps up the current schedule of  Gangubai Kathiawadi, she heads straight to Hyderabad to join SS Rajamouli’s RRR cast and crew. Earlier in October Alia had expressed her excitement of joining team RRR soon. She had taken to her Twitter to share a video from the sets featuring South star Ram Charan performing a scene and wrote, “So so looking forward to joining the team Await #RamarajuforBheemOnOct22!”
