Gangubai Kathiawadi Screening: Rekha Copies Alia Bhatt's Namaste Pose, Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Others Arrive In Style

Alia Bhatt is all set to ablaze the silver screen with her upcoming film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', which has created a huge buzz. The trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial has left everyone mighty impressed with Alia’s power-packed performance. Ahead of its release this Friday, a special screening of the film was held on Wednesday and it was a star-studded affair. Right from Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor lovebirds Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, to Rekha B-Town arrived in style at the screening.
Alia, who plays a titular role in the film, made heads turn in an elegant white salwar suit. Deepika, on the other hand, looked stunning in a white saree. In the viral photos, the Om Shanti Om actress can be seen sitting inside her car and waving at the paparazzi. Handsome hunks, including Vicky, Arjun, and Ishaan Khatter were also at their sartorial best.
Notably, veteran actress Rekha, clad in a white outfit, stole the limelight as she did Alia-style Namaste pose for the paparazzi. Besides them, Ananya Panday, Javed Akhtar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, Sara Ali Khan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and filmmaker Shashank Khaitan were also spotted at the screening. Ananya arrived with her rumoured boyfriend Ishaan Khatter in the same car.
After watching the film, Vicky Kaushal was all praise for Bhansali’s filmmaking craft and Alia’s performance. The Uri actor said he was “absolutely shook watching the sheer brilliance at display in the film. He also branded Alia as “breathtakingly amazing” as Gangubai. Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to hit the theatres on 25 February 2022.
