After delivering blockbuster hits like Bajrao Mastani and Padmaavat, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to woo the audience with Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt in the lead role. As the ace director has already locked his leading lady, it is reported that Bhansali has found the male leads of the film in Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi. However, nothing is being confirmed by the actors neither the production house. But we recently came to know that there is another member who will be joining the ensemble star cast and that is TV actor and a dancer, Shantanu Maheshwari who rose to fame with Dil Dosti Dance.
As per a report in Times Of India, Nach Baliye 9 contestant Shantanu might be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Although reports are still unconfirmed. The portal stated that the director called the actor to his office to offer him the role, to which he has reportedly accepted it. Interestingly, Shantanu's name has also appeared in the IMDB list of the film. Apart from this report, there was also news stating that Katrina Kaif has been roped in for a special song in the film and the song will reportedly be mounted on a lavish scale.
However, it will be a dance-off between Katrina and Alia or it will a foot-tapping number starring only Katrina is not been confirmed yet. For now, we are eagerly waiting for some exciting details.
