Gauri Khan shared a sneak peek of her house and shared it with a caption that rightfully captures the spirit of her home
Interior designer and wife of Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan personally decorated their luxurious home Mannat with a lot of love and care. Now, her upcoming coffee table book will finally give a glimpse of how the country’s biggest superstar lives in his palatial mansion.
Taking to her social media handle on Wednesday, Gauri shared a sneak peek of her house and shared it with a caption that rightfully captures the spirit of her home.
Sharing the picture of herself, Gauri wrote, “A home is a place we can truly be ourselves… and how it is designed speaks volumes. To know about my thoughts on design, pick up my coffee table book #MyLifeInDesign… @PenguinIndia.”
For those unaware, superstar Shah Rukh Khan has written the foreword of the book and previously, a Twitter user shared a few pictures of the same.
In the foreword, SRK detailed the time when they bought their first house. He shared, “Needless to say, it was beyond our means, but we needed a living space, because we were expecting Aryan. So, the choice was made, that we would try and buy stuff as and when we had the money. We could not afford a designer so the job was taken over by Gauri.”
The Dilwale actor also recalled the time when they went to buy a sofa and found it to be too expensive, and hence Gauri started her journey of designing. “We once went to buy a sofa, but since it was too expensive, we just bought the leather for the sofa on one of my travels and waited for some carpenter to build what Gauri had designed in a notebook,” the actor wrote.
Interestingly, Gauri is also a producer and she has donned the producer’s hat for Shah Rukh’s Jawan. The movie, directed by Atlee will be Shah Rukh’s first collaboration with the director.
Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Priyamani in pivotal characters. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Jawan will release on September 7.
