Gauri Khan Takes A Dig At Shah Rukh Khan’s Break From Films: ‘Will Tell Him To Keep Second Option As A Designer’
It has been a long time now since we saw Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen. The superstar was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s film Zero, along with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, but the film failed to perform well. Zero was released in December 2018, and it has been more than a year since fans have been waiting for him to announce his next film. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan recently visited his wife Gauri Khan’s design store in Mumbai, and it was then that Gauri made a witty remark about his sabbatical from films.

During a media interaction, Gauri Khan spoke about Shah Rukh Khan’s design sense and was all praise for him. But while doing so, she also took a jibe at him, and his break from films. She stated that SRK has a great sense of designing and how he has also suggested many changes in their home as well. She then said, “As Shah Rukh is not doing any movie right now, I will tell him to keep his second option as a designer in the future because he is a great designer.”

Well, Shah Rukh Khan himself admits jokingly about his last few films not working well. It was when he sat with Jeff Bezos and Zoya Akhtar for a fireside chat, that Bezos called him one of the most humble people he has ever met. SRK responded with, “That’s only because my last few films did not work well.”

Meanwhile, Karan Johar had confirmed Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in Brahmastra, starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan. There are also reports of him making a comeback with a Rajkumar Hirani film.
