Gehraiyaan Intimacy Director Reveals How Deepika Padukone-Siddhant Chaturvedi Got Comfortable In Doing BOLD Scenes And Steamy Lip-Locks In The Romantic Drama
Gehraiyaan intimacy director Dar Gai opened up about directing Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s bold scenes in the movie
Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer upcoming romantic drama ‘Gehraiyaan’ is one of the most highly-awaited films for obvious reasons. Deepika- Siddhant’s sizzling chemistry in the movie has set tongues wagging. In the trailer, both the actors were seen doing intimate scenes and steamy lip-locks, which speaks volumes about the intimacy they shared in the film. Now, in a recent interview, Gehraiyaan’s intimacy director Dar Gai has opened up about directing Deepika and Siddhant's bold scenes.
While speaking to India Today, Gai revealed that she had come up with a lot of techniques to play around with Deepika and Siddhant. She also called it one of her favourite experiences. Dar Gai was quoted as saying, “I don't want to sound cheesy, but it was one of my favourite experiences ever because when you have the right people on board and professionals who believe in what they are doing and why they are doing it, it is then that the magic starts. Shakun (Batra, director of Gehraiyaan) is an incredible director. He doesn't just have the creative energy, he also has a command over his craft. With Siddhant and Deepika, I could play around with a lot of interesting techniques.”
The director added that she conducted several workshops with the actors to help them to get into the skin of their characters and to get comfortable with each other. On a related note, directed by Shakun Batra, ‘Gehraiyaan’ also stars Ananya Panday in a pivotal role and the film will release on Amazon Prime Video on February 11.
