Mohenjo-Daro filmmaker dismissed his cinematographer because he preferred attending Priyanka's shoot instead
Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo-Daro starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde, which went on floors on the Reublic Day, has been in the news. And not for the right reasons. Ace cinematographer Ayanka Bose who has done films like Kites, Kick, Once Upon A Time Dobaara had to be replaced by C K Muraleedharan who last did Aamir Khan starrer PK. But bet you didn't know this!
Priyanka Chopra is the reason why Bose lost out on Mohenjo-Daro.
Insiders reveal that Bose called up Gowariker to inform that he has a prior commitment with Priyanka Chopra to shoot a TV commercial on January 26. But Gowariker didn't take to it kindly.
A source close to the film told SpotboyE.com, "Ayanka wanted to do Mohenjo-Daro. However, Ashtosh was obstinate that he will not change the mahurat date."
Though Gowariker remained unavailable for comment, Bose didn't deny the story and simply said, "I just don't want to talk about this. But yes, I am no doing Mohenjo-Daro."
