Giorgia Andriani Announces Break Up With Arbaaz Khan, Says, ‘We Both Knew That It Wouldn’t Last Forever’

Giorgia Andriani had been in a relationship with Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan for a few years subsequent to his 2017 divorce from Malaika Arora. Despite their breakup, Malaika and Arbaaz maintain an amicable co-parenting arrangement for their son, Arhaan. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Giorgia openly discussed her split from Arbaaz for the first time, expressing, “We were close friends, almost like best friends. My feelings for him will persist; they always will." She clarified, “His past relationship with Malaika (Arora) didn’t significantly impact my bond with him. Being labelled someone's girlfriend feels belittling to me. We both understood it wasn’t a forever kind of relationship. Describing her current rapport with Arbaaz, she shared, “Currently, we're great friends. We've always shared a strong friendship, even when we were more than just friends. Our bond was close; we had a lot of enjoyable moments together. Transitioning from being close to friends was a challenge, given our history.” She further explained, “Recovering from a lengthy or even a brief relationship is tough. The essence of what made our relationship special was the fun we shared. Spending an extended period having such fun together definitely makes bouncing back difficult.
