Good Luck Jerry TRAILER OUT: Janhvi Kapoor As Fearless Drug Dealer Steals The Show, Actress Steps Into Smuggling Business To Save Her Mother
The trailer of Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Good Luck Jerry’ is out and it shows the actress playing a drug dealer in Punjab
Actress Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Good Luck Jerry where she plays the role of a drug dealer. Much to fans’ delight, the trailer of the film has been released and it looks quite impressive. The intriguing video shows Kapoor turning into a fearless drug dealer in Punjab for his family. She steps into the drug smuggling business to save her mother who is diagnosed with lung cancer in the film.
Sharing the trailer on her Instagram handle, late Sridevi’s daughter wrote, “FINALLY! Miliye Jerry se. Aur yaad rakhiye- hum jitne dikhte hain, utne hain nahi #GoodLuckJerry streaming from 29th July on @disneyplushotstar #TrailerOutNow.” A glimpse of Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, and Sushant Singh’s characters is also seen in the video. The trailer opens with Jaipreet 'Jerry' Sethi (Janhvi) giving a befitting and honest response to a drug-dealer gang who tells her that this business is not for women. Her life takes a shocking turn when her mother is diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer. In order to arrange the money for her treatment, Janhvi becomes a fearless drug dealer and thus she faces many difficult and dangerous situations. Janhvi’s this never before seen action-packed avatar has left her fans impressed as they showered compliments and praises on her in the comments section of the post. Directed by Siddharth Sen, Good Luck Jerry is a Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Kolamaavu Kokila and will release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 29.
Apart from this, Janhvi also has Boney Kapoor’s production Mili, Mr And Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao, and Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal co-starring Varun Dhawan in the pipeline.
