The seven-year-long family feud between Bollywood actor Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek has been making the headlines for quite some time now. Fans were in for a treat when, despite the cold war between the uncle-nephew duo, the actor arrived to bless his niece, Arti Singh, and her husband Dipak Chauhan during their wedding on Thursday evening. Earlier, Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah had expressed her desire for Govinda to attend the wedding. As videos of the Partner actor arriving at the wedding venue took the internet by storm, it was also noted that his wife Sunita Ahuja chose to skip the event.
Attended by their family and close friends, Arti Singh and Dipak Chauhan tied the knot on April 25. Having met through an arranged marriage setup, the newlywed couple oozed happiness as they promised to be with each other for the rest of their lives. After much speculation of whether or not the 60-year-old actor would attend the wedding, due to his feud with Krushna Abhishek, Arti’s brother, fans were left ecstatic when he arrived at the venue. Dressed in a black bandhgala, he greeted the paparazzi before rushing in to meet his niece and nephew as well as their families. Having arrived at the venue without his wife Sunita Ahuja and their kids Yashvardhan and Tina, Govinda blessed the newlyweds with a successful married life. For the unversed, the family feud between the actors has been going on for a while. From nasty exchange of words between Kashmera and Sunita to Krushna accusing his uncle of not visiting his kids at the hospital when they were born, and Govinda calling him a liar, the family has engaged in many public spats. Earlier, the comedian had extended a hand towards a truce. It seems like the family is on its way to mend their relationship again after spending a few years being angry at each other.
