Govinda’s Wife Sunita Ahuja Receives Backlash For Carrying A Handbag Inside Ujjain's Mahakal Temple; Action Taken Against Security Personnels- REPORT
Pictures of Sunita Ahuja carrying a handbag to the garbha-griha of Ujjain's Mahakal temple are going viral on social media
Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja recently became the talk of the town when pictures of her carrying a handbag to the Ujjain's Mahakal temple’s garbha-griha (sanctum sanctorum) went viral on social media. She was at the receiving end of backlash as carrying any sort of bag inside the temple is prohibited. It seemed like the temple authorities made an exception for her, despite the ban, which left the netizens angered and disappointed.
According to ETimes, the internet was left surprised that the security team at the temple did not notice her bag or stop her from entering the premises before she broke the rule. She even took her social media handles to share pictures with the priest, where she can be seen carrying the green bag with her. The entertainment publication reported that the matter was escalated to the authorities after questions were raised on the security present at the temple during the entire fiasco. According to their report, the security team was busy at the gate when Ahuja entered the temple. Sandeep Soni, the temple administrator, went on to add that necessary action has been taken against the security personnel who was responsible to see that no bags were taken inside the temple. For the unversed, Sunita tied the knot with Govinda in 1987 after dating for a few years. The couple are proud parents to two children Yashvardan and Tina. The duo first met through family members as Govinda's uncle and Sunita's sister were married to each other. During his struggling days, the actor stayed with his uncle for three years. Sunita would often visit her sister and jiju where she used to meet Govinda and with time their bond got stronger.
