This year in Sept, it was announced that Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in main roles would be India’s official entry to Oscars 2020. Naturally, the industry was delighted at large.
However, this morning, the 92nd Academy Awards announced the final list and Gully Boy is not a part of any list which signifies that the film is out of the Oscars race.
