The film industry, on Saturday night, was up for delightful news. Interestingly, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy has emerged as India’s official entry for the upcoming edition of Academy Awards AKA Oscars 2020. This sure brewed a storm across social media, as people, including the team of Gully Boy, couldn’t stop expressing their excitement on the same. Well, Ranveer Singh’s spectacular rapping skills have been the talk of the town, and, now, it looks like Ayushmann Khurrana too has caught the rap fever and his latest Instagram posts are proof.
The Badhaai Ho actor has penned a couple of verses and must say that we are impressed! In his first post, Ayushmann shared a picture of himself and he looked dapper as ever. In his caption, the actor wrote, “Kisi din itminaan mein milna, Tab bahut alag hota hoon. Masroofiyat mein toh bas alag thalag hota hoon.” Moments later, Ayushmann once again shared a picture of himself, but it was his ek number caption that grabbed our attention. “Main sirf sifar hoon, Uska ajeeb sa safar hoon. Bana deta hoon jud kar har number ko bada, Asaliyat mein awwal darze ka duffer hoon.” That sounds amazing and we don’t mind a gig anytime soon, Ayushmann! Check out his posts below:
Well, Ayushmann Khurrana often treats fans with his musings and that’s just one of his many talents.
Coming back to Gully Boy, Alia Bhatt shared her happiness on the news, saying, “Gully Boy as a film is really special to me. What's even more special is that it has had such a long run - after releasing in February, it won at the Melbourne Film Festival, then it was also shown in Japan. Now, it's been selected as India's official entry for the Academy. So, here on, I just hope, pray and wish that we make it to the nomination and then win. This is a first and it's a big deal for us. As a team, we are very excited."
A huge congratulations to the entire team of Gully Boy and we hope you win big!
