They may not have seen eye to eye while shooting for Gunday but later went on to become thick friends.
Their camaraderie however had its fair share of brickbats when the duo shared stage on the AIB Roast.
Now, the duo has been asked to host IIFA 2015 in Malaysia.
For those who have come in late, Ranveer could not stand Arjun because Anushka Sharma started hanging out with Arjun after she parted ways with him.
A source says, "But all that is a thing of the past. Arjun is now dating Sonakshi, Ranveer is in a steady relationship with Deepika, Anushka is very serious about Virat. Ranveer and Arjun don't believe in living in the past for too long. They have said 'yes' to hosting IIFA."
