Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl: Janhvi Kapoor And Angad Bedi Dance On My Name Is Lakhan, 'Trying To Make Anil Kapoor Proud'
Angad Bedi shared a BTS video of Janhvi Kapoor and himself where the two are seen dancing to the tunes of My Name Is Lakhan
Angad Bedi who will also play a pivotal role in Janhvi Kapoor's Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl biopic had expressed his excitement on Instagram by sharing a BTS video as the film is just 2 days away from hitting the OTT platform. The video is question has Angad and Janhvi dancing on the tunes of Anil Kapoor's My Name Is Lakhan. In the clip, Angad was seen dancing his heart out while Janhvi looked distracted as she tried to tell him, “Dada, suno na ek second. Mujhe pilot banna hai (Brother, listen to me for one second. I want to be a pilot).” While he had shared the video, Bedi said that they are rehearsing their favourite song while trying to make Jahvi's uncle Anil Kapoor proud.
However, soon after the video was uploaded, the actor deleted it from his Instagram account for the reasons better known to him. Sharing the video on his page, Angad captioned it as, “Gunju @janhvikapoor and Anshuman rehearsing our fav song ‘my name is lakhan’ trying time make @anilskapoor sir proud. shooting this and saying 5..6..7..8 is our sharry @sharansharma trying to make our bond stronger. #gunjansaxenathekargilgirl two days to go.. on @netflix_in 12 th aug. @dharmamovies @karanjohar @apoorva1972.”
Talking about the film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is a biopic. The film will showcase the chronicles of the flight Lieutenant Gunjan Saxena who becomes the first Indian female pilot in combat.
Janhvi Kapoor
In one of the video on her Instagram account, Janhvi wrote, “Becoming Gunjan The most exciting, motivating and inspiring journey- discovering Gunjan Saxena." The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi who essays the role of her father. The biopic is directed by Sharan Sharma and is backed by Dharma Productions. Janhvi starrer is all set to release on August 12 on Netflix.
