Today as per Hindu calendar India celebrates Guru Purnima also known as Vyasa Purnima, and many celebs of the tinsel town took to their social networking account, are penned notes thanking people who helped mould them and achieve success in their lives. Beginning with Amitabh Bachchan, he shared an image on his Twitter account, and mentioned in his tweet, a guru is beyond everything in one’s life. He also mentioned that the blessing of our teachers always remains with us. Next is Shilpa Shetty who posted a picture of her visit to Shirdi, and mentioned of Lord Sai Baba being her teacher who has guided her in her life, urging people to have faith in their Gurus, as she wished her fans on this occasion. Veteran actor Anupam Kher in his Tweet, thanking his teachers, credits them for his success and also blessed the students studying in his acting school on Guru Purnima.

Senior actor Manoj Bajpayee penned a tweet thanking his teachers for their guidance which saved him from being lost in his life. 


Sanjay Dutt mentioned his late parents Sunil and Nargis Dutt being his Gurus, he also shared a picture of him with them. Rangoli Chandel thanked her sister Kangana Ranaut terming the actress as her Guru, shared a happy picture of them on her networking account social.
