Veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor’s daughter and actress Sonam Kapoor recently hosted a dinner part with her businessman husband Anand Ahuja for footballer David Beckham. The entire Bollywood industry had attended the event and soon social media was filled with photos of the celebrity posing with the international star. The actress’ brother Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, who made his debut with Mirzya in 2016, too was seen posing alongside him. However, he was brutally trolled by the netizens for the same. He has now reacted to all the trolling.

Sharing a photo with Beckham on his official X (formerly known as X) handle, Kapoor wrote, “Met david Beckham last night.. spoke to him about United ofcourse and the state of the club .. can’t  reveal more..” As soon as his post went live, faceless trolls took this as an opportunity to mock his ‘non-existant’ career in Bollywood. Many questioned his identity and wondered how the footballer reacted after knowing the kid of movies he has done. One went as far as to ask him. “usne ye nahi poochha ki tu hai kaun?” The 33-year-old actor, smartly replied, “Bhai Woh mere ghar pe aaya.. Tu kaun hai ?”

Just as he was brutally trolled, many fans even came to his rescue. Complementing him on his work and wondering why people have the free time to mock others on the internet. Replying to the same, Harsh told one of his fans, “The only difference is I never instigate it .. I do my own thing but if someone is logging onto twitter going on my page to quote tweet me and simultaneously trying to low blow me (contradictory from them btw) I’ll say what I want to them if I’m in the mood :)”



For the unversed, Harsh Varrdhan was last seen in Thar and Ray: Spotlight. He has made name for himself in the industry by choosing unconventional movie scripts. He will be next seen in the biopic of Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra.
