Varun Dhawan is shattered with the sudden death of his driver Manoj
Varun Dhawan is heartbroken as his driver Manoj passed away on Tuesday. As per multiple reports, he drove the actor to Mehboob studio for an ad shoot and later, he complained of chest pain. He was immediately rushed to the Lilavati hospital by the actor's team where he was declared dead. He reportedly suffered a heart attack.
Doctor Ajay Panday from the hospital confirmed the news to ETimes and said, "Yes unfortunately. My condolence to family."
Varun was close to his driver. As soon as he got the news of his sudden demise, Varun rushed to the hospital. He was clicked by paparazzi outside the hospital with his team. Reportedly, Varun's father David Dhawan spoke to him and consoled him. They have also promised to look after his family. According to reports, Manoj has been working for the Dhawan family for more than a decade. Reacting to the news, Varun's fan wrote, "I can't imagine how devastated he might be right now. Manoj drove him n Rohit to school wen thy were babies. One of the oldest staff member. Too sincere. May his soul find peace." Another commented, "Stay strong VD."
On the work front, Varun will be seen in Amar Kaushik's Bhediya. He will share screen space with Kriti Sanon in the same. The first poster was released in November last year and received a great response. The actor also has Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The movie also stars Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Prajakta Kohli and Neetu Kapoor. Fans of the actor are looking forward to his projects.
