Kartik Aaryan is undoubtedly one of the most popular stars in Bollywood. While he has been grabbing headlines for his professional success, it is being speculated that he will be headlining the third instalment of the much-loved franchise Hera Pheri.
Earlier, it was reported that the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor is likely to replace the superstar and will step into the shoes of Raju in the film.
The franchise originally starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles, and over the years, the first two instalments have gone on to grab the cult-classic title.
But, as per the latest reports, the rumours seem to be untrue! If we are to go by the latest reports, Kartik Aaryan won’t be replacing Akshay Kumar in Hera Pheri 3. The actor will be introduced as a new character in the new instalment. The report states the character Raju has been dropped completely.
A recent ETimes report quoted a source close to the development who stated that once it was established that Akshay would no longer be part of the Hera Pheri franchise, his character Raju was dropped completely.
The source further stated that the third instalment of Hera Pheri won’t have Akshay’s character while Kartik Aaryan will be seen playing a new character which will be introduced.

A fan asked the 67-year-old actor on Twitter this morning if the rumours about Kartik being in the film are true, and Rawal confirmed, "Yes, it's true." Fans were devastated by the tweet. Many people began flooding the comment section with hilarious memes and declared that there would be no Hera Pheri 3 with Akshay.
