Here's How Abhishek Bachchan Reacted After A Fan Said He Played Captain Vikram Batra 'Way Better' In LOC Kargil Than Sidharth Malhotra In Shershaah
The trailer of Shershaah released on Sunday and it left many beyond impressed. The war film is based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, who sacrificed his life for the country during the Kargil War in 1999. Sidharth malhotra will be seen playing the role of Kargil hero. Shershaah's trailer was launched at the Kargil Vijay Diwas in Kargil. Sidharth, Kiara Advani, Karan Johar and team members were in attendance.

Fans including many celebrities Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and others praised Sidharth's performance in the trailer. Abhishek Bachchan, who had essayed the role of Captain Vikram Batra in the movie "LOC: Kargil" took to Twitter and wrote, "Loved it! Such a wonderful way to honour one of India's bravest sons! Best wishes @karanjohar @vishnu_dr @SidMalhotra @advani_kiara."

One of the Twitter users, however, wrote, "#ShershaahTrailer is awsm.. No offense to Sidharth Malhotra (awsm actor did a good job) but I think @juniorbachchan played Capt. Vikram Batra (pvc) way better in #LocKargil movie. (Was more energetic especially in that dialogue - ye Dil mange more, Durga Mata Ki Jai)". Abhishek Bachchan replied with a folded hands emoji.

Abhishek Bachchan portrayed Capt Vikram Batra in LoC Kargil, a JP Dutta directorial, based on the Kargil War.

Abhishek was last seen in The Big Bull, which received a great response. Apart from him, the movie starred Ileana D'Cruz, Sohum Shah, and Nikita Dutta among others, who also delivered brilliant performances.
