Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married in an intimate ceremony on April 14 at the actor’s home Vastu. Their wedding was an extremely private affair with just family members and a few close friends in attendance. Alia shared breathtaking photos from her special day and pre-wedding ceremonies with her fans and followers on Instagram. Notably, several unseen and inside photos and videos from this big fat wedding continue to hit the internet and in a new video, Ranbir is seen proudly introducing Alia to his family after their Varmala ceremony.

Needless to say, the actor has introduced his wifey in the sweetest way possible! The video is from Alia and Ranbir’s Varmala ceremony and it is doing rounds on social media with fans gushing over the newly-married couple. In the clip, Ranbir and Alia can be seen exchanging garlands. The couple, surrounded by their family and friends, then shares a sweet kiss. Ranbir later holds Alia’s hand and introduces her to his family saying, “Say hi to my wife". Post her dreamy nuptials, the Raazi actress shared a couple of her stunning photos with Ranbir on Instagram alongside a beautiful note. The first picture showed the couple locking lips. Sharing the photos, Alia wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia.”

On the work front, Alia and Ranbir are awaiting the release of their film Brahmastra, which is slated to release on 9 September 2022. The two have resumed the shooting for their respective movies. They are yet to go on their honeymoon.
