Honey Singh's Wife Shalini Talwar Breaks Into Tears In Court During Her Domestic Violence Hearing; Deets INSIDE
Yo Yo Honey Singh’s wife Shalini Talwar reportedly broke down in the courtroom during her hearing in the domestic violence case filed by her against the singer.
Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has been in headlines ever since his wife Shalini Talwar accused him of domestic violence. For the uninitiated, earlier this month, Yo Yo Honey Singh’s wife claimed she was subjected to physical, verbal, mental, and emotional abuse by him. She also filed a case of domestic violence against him at the Tis Hazari court on August 3. Now, in the recent development, it has been reported that Shalini Talwar broke down during her recent court hearing in the domestic violence case.
According to ANI, the wife of the singer broke down in a Tis Hazari courtroom on Saturday during a hearing in the domestic violence case filed by her against the singer. Shalini Talwar, while expressing her grievances, told the Metropolitan Magistrate Tania Singh that she was left with no other option. She told the court that she had given Honey Singh ten years of her life and that she has always stood by him, but the singer has now abandoned her.
The court opined that it would be better if the matter could be settled.
Honey Singh, however, did not appear in court on Saturday and the magistrate came down on him for not filing his income affidavit. The court said that "no one is above the law”. The court also conveyed to Ishan Mukherjee, Honey Singh’s counsel that Honey Singh had appealed to be exempted from the hearing and cited medical reasons for the same.
The judge has now given the rapper a last chance to appear in court on September 3.
Shalini Talwar had filed a domestic violence case against Honey Singh and sought Rs 20 crore as compensation under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
