Hours Before Car Accident, Malaika Arora Talks About Her Bold Fashion Choices, Says, ‘I Can't Please Everybody, I Am Not An Avocado’

On Saturday, Malaika Arora met with a car accident while she was returning home after attending Pune Time Fashion week. The actress sustained a few injuries and was immediately rushed to a hospital where she was kept under observation. Hours before the accident, the Chaiyya Chaiyya girl had opened up about her fashion choices, how it has evolved over the years, and her personal sense of style. Malaika admitted that with the changing times and constant media attention, she has become more aware of what looks good and what doesn't look good on her.
Speaking to ETimes TV, the actress stated, “When I was younger I was far more experimental and some of those experiments turned out terrible. I think I've realised that, especially over the years. I wouldn't say I am kosher when it comes to fashion, I still like pushing the envelope, experimenting and doing things differently. But now I know what looks good and what doesn't.”
The 48-year-old actress also asserted that when it comes to fashion and making style statements, some will like it, and some won't. She can't ‘please everybody as she is an avocado’. “If there's something that you can put out there and people find it worth following and wanting to be part of, then I think I've done something right,” Malaika further explained. The fashionista also called her bestie Kareena Kapoor Khan the ‘most stylish’ person around. While showering heaps of praise on Bebo, Malaika said she is effortless as she does not try too hard when it comes to fashion.
Meanwhile, Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora has given an update on her health and revealed she is now 'fine and stable'. Malaika will get discharged from the hospital today.
