At the trailer launch of Housefull 4, Akshay Kumar was quizzed whether his character, in the film, would offend the Karni Sena and here’s what he had to say!

After a long wait, the trailer of Housefull 4 starring Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hedge, has been finally unveiled amid a grand trailer launch. And in order to stick to the film’s theme, the entire cast of Housefull 4 turned up in their 1419 avatars and they looked convincing enough. While at the trailer launch, Akshay Kumar was quizzed about a lot of things, which, surprisingly, included something about Karni Sena as well.

FYI, Akshay Kumar plays the role of a Rajput king in Housefull 4’s 1419 era and, on the lines, one of the reporters asked the actor that, through his character, if he’s done anything that would offend the Karni Sena (after all the mess that Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor’s Padmaavat faced). Well, for the sarcastic and witty person that Akki is, he had one savage reply. “Please aap rehnedona, aapko shanti achi nahi lagti.  Koi aisa koi problem nahi hai madam, toh main aapse darkhast karta hoon haath jodke ki aisa kuch na kare. Acchi bhali aapki industry chal rahi hai, aapne zabardasti kuch karna hai yeh sab. Kya faida?” said the actor, leaving everyone in splits. Guess, he is no mood to tackle any such controversy.

Before this, Akshay was also quizzed that while he plays a funny character in Housefull 4, is his next – Prithviraj Chauhan – is on the similar lines and whether it would have any effect. And, once again, Akshay Kumar won the audiences with his witty reply. “Nahi koi asar nahi padega usme. Yeh (Housefull 4) bahut alag film hai, who (Prithviraj Chauhan) bahut alag film hai. Is film ke bich mein aur us film ke bich kareeban char aur ajayenge filmien,” said the actor. LOL!

Housefull 2 releases during Diwali this year.
