There was a time when Juhi Chalwa and Aamir Khan did not speak to each other for long. It was after he got divorced from his wife Reena, the two got back on talking terms.
Back in the time, Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla were among one of the most admired on-screen couples of Bollywood. The duo impressed viewers with their delightful chemistry in films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Tum Mere Ho, Daulat Ki Jung, Love Love Love and Ishq among several others. The two also share a great rapport and are often seen lovingly wishing each other on their birthdays on social media. However, things weren’t always the same between the two actors.
It turns out that Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla had a massive fight on the sets of Ishq, which resulted in them not taking for seven years. Yes, you read that right! As per Lehren, Aamir Khan had revealed how he and Juhi fought over petty issues; well, things went downhill and they stopped talking for seven years. The situation escalated so much that he used to sit at a distance of 50 feet from Juhi and stopped greeting her too. Aamir added that they just maintained a professional relationship while on their film’s sets.
Well, call it destiny or whatever but it was during Aamir Khan’s divorce with his first wife Reena that his differences with Juhi got resolved. It turns out that Juhi was close to the couple and she, in fact, also tried to sort out the matters between the former couple. During the same interview, the PK actor also thanked Juhi for standing with him amid his tough times. After all, for how long can two good friends stay apart?
On the work front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film is slated to release during Christmas this year.
