Versatile actress Shefali Shah and Kirti Kulhari have teamed up for the upcoming medical thriller ‘Human.’ Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Mozez Singh, the suspense web show will shed light on unexpected secrets of the world of medicines and its effect on people with a gripping tale of murder, mystery, lust, and manipulation. After a long wait, its trailer is out and it looks quite intriguing. The two-minute trailer shows a pharma giant pushing a new drug into the market by conducting clinical trials on Humans and it turns out to be lethal. 

Shefali took to her Instagram handle to share the trailer with her fans and wrote, What is the cost of saving lives?Watch the trailer of #HotstarSpecials #Human, a gripping new medical thriller. @disneyplushotstar.” Going by the trailer, it is quite evident that the show is about conducting risky drug trials on humans. It also talks about people on whom these trials are done if they are aware of the dangers involved, especially in India.

Talking about the show, Shefali Shah, who plays the lead character of Dr. Gauri Nath, in the series said, “Human as a series is extremely relevant and relatable in today’s time. When I read the script, I couldn’t help but imagine our current scenario, a world of hospitals and vaccine trials. It makes one question humanity and everything that transpires to keep it intact. " She added, "Gauri Nath is someone you rarely come across. It’s one of the most complicated characters I’ve ever played, and completely out of my comfort zone. She is unpredictable and indecipherable. Human is a Pandora’s box of emotions, actions, and consequences. And you’d never know what hit you from the dark depths of its complexities."
