The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is all set to surprise the cinegoers as it recently kicked off its 52nd edition in Goa. The nine-day film gala will be organised in a hybrid format – virtual and physical – and will go on till November 28.

The iconic festival saw several star-studded performances, including Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Shraddha Kapoor, Mouni Roy and Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’Souza. Now, many pictures and videos of the actors grooving to the famous numbers have gone viral and fans can’t get enough of it. 

Interestingly, superstar Salman Khan was seen shaking a leg to his famous Hud Hud Dabangg and other iconic songs. Meanwhile, Shraddha performed to a medley of songs including Kar Har Maidan Fateh and Badal Pe Paon Hain, while Riteish and Genelia promoted regional cinema and grooved to Marathi songs. 













The official Instagram page of IFFI shared pictures of Ranveer, Mouni and the others’ performances as well.

This years International Film Festival of India is touted to be the biggest so far as it will honour Hollywood stalwart Martin Scorsese and celebrated Hungarian filmmaker Istevan Szabo with the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement award.


Meanwhile, Veteran actor Hema Malini and lyricist Prasoon Joshi are reported to be honoured with the Indian Personality of the Year award at the IFFI 2021. The news was shared by Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur and said, “Their contributions to the field of Indian cinema spreads over decades and their body of work has enthralled audiences across generations. They are Indian cinematic icons who are admired and respected the world over,” Thakur said.


Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul turned hosts for the opening ceremony of IFFI 2021. 

The function was also attended by politicians such as Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur and Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant.
