Ileana D’Cruz Needed Therapy Post-Breakup With Ex Andrew Kneebone, Says ‘Shit Happens, But Life Goes On’
SpotboyE was the first one to inform you about Ileana D’Cruz’s breakup with longtime boyfriend Andrew Kneebone. A li’l birdie had told us that the couple had a big fight and parted ways post that. The actress, who was last seen in Raid alongside Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi has been making headlines owing to her break up with the Australian photographer. The Rustom actress then hinted about her split on social media too, which started grabbing the headlines.

During a recent conversation with Deccan Chronicle, the actress opened up on her breakup and said she had to see a therapist. She said, “I think you owe it to yourself to take care of yourself, and the minute I realised that I saw a huge difference; not just mentally, but physically and internally as well. If you are going through bad times, then you have to work on yourself. I can’t rely on people, because you have to rely on yourself.” She further confessed that she was depressed and had to see a therapist, “I went to a therapist and she told me to accept the complements. Furthermore, she added that falling in love is easy but staying in love is a different thing. She added, “Having a partner makes you feel calm and secure, but your mental well-being is far more important. I am not ready for love, I am very happy where I am. I am falling in love with myself.”

Ileana then said it’s always a learning experience. She never wanted to come out bitter or someone with any animosity. She added that her breakup has left her stronger. She concluded, “Shit happens, but life goes on. The way I dealt with the entire thing comes with respect and love for the other person. I don’t curse or think anything bad about him. I am in a good place and I wish all good things for him.”
