Imran Khan Slams The Door On KJo, Ekta, Kashyap
Imran Khan is not going great guns with his career, but that isn't preventing him from placing conditions.

A source from a top production house has told SpotboyE that the actor is clear about not collaborating with three leading producers: Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap.

Said the source, "He has told his team that he's open to new ideas, new producers and new directors and even many of the existing ones- but not these three. Once he has made up his mind, he isn't going to sway easily. He's hurt by all three and is confident that he can stay afloat without their support."

Now, what went wrong with this otherwise terrific trio who any actor would give an arm and a leg to work with?

With Ekta, Imran fell out over the marketing of Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobara. The actor felt she was too aggressive and he wasn't up for some of the promotional activities he was made to do. The duo tried to bury the hatchet recently, but as reported by SpotboyE, there was a fallout all over again (Ekta Kapoor-Imran Khan Go Separate Ways...Again!, September 7th), this time over the remuneration and casting of Tigmanshu Dhulia's Milan Talkies.

As for Karan Johar, he dropped Imran like a hot potato from upcoming projects after the debacle of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. Things became so hot that Imran went to return the pay-cheque he received for the film.

Not the one to take it lying down, Karan ensured that when his new friends at Phantom Films (Anurag is one of the co-founders) were making vigilante drama Bhavesh Joshi with Imran, a call went to their offices and overnight, he was replaced by Karan's blue-eyed boy Sidharth Malhotra.

All these nasty encounters have apparently left Imran so scarred that he doesn't want any professional association with the said producers.
