First, it was the news of the vaccine and now a historic win for the men’s Indian cricket team has brought in a wave of happiness throughout the country. India beat Australia in the fourth and final match of the series held in Brisbane, which has been the fortress of this team, and clinched the series 2-1. Anushka Sharma celebrated the historic win and congratulated team India.

Social media has been filled with congratulatory messages from a lot of people and Anushka Sharma, who recently welcomed her first child with Virat Kohli, wished the team as well. She posted a picture of the Indian cricket team on her Instagram story and wrote, “What a win team India! What an inspirational victory for years to come “

The team was without their regular captain Virat Kohli who had taken paternity leave to be back in India alongside Anushka. Both of them have been following the matches post birth of their daughter and seem to be celebrating the victory as well.
