Kangana Ranaut is quarantined with her family in Manali. Due to the unfortunate outbreak of Coronavirus, Bollywood celebs have been appealing to their fans and followers to stay at home and do not violate lockdown rules. As we all know, 20 days are left for India to bounce back to normalcy after the 3-week lockdown as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
While people are thinking about how to make their quarantine productive, Kangana Ranaut has put out a video to make it easy for you. A while back the Manikarnika actress/director posted a video and suggesting a list of books to read during the quarantine period. Posting an IGTV video, Kangana’s team captioned it, “Navratri 2nd day!! Kangana recommends some good books to read during this #Quarantine. Do watch.” In the 4-min-18-sec long video sees Kangana telling her fans since people are quarantined, OTT platforms are showing so many web shows like they are in a competition. She further says that a film may entertain you but it surely doesn't engage you. It may engage you emotionally, especially when it’s based on sensuality and sexuality and it doesn’t hold any future.
Further suggesting a few book names to her fans, Kangana says people who don’t like reading much or are beginners at reading can starting with books like The Kite Runner, Notebook. People also say The Alchemist and Fountain Head are also for beginners, but I don’t believe so. Because, she thought, these are very intensely layered books. Watch the video below:
She also said if you want to begin with spiritual books, then start with Swami Vivekananda’s Raja Yoga, Sadhguru’s Inner Engineering. And if you like psychological then Floyd's The Interpretation Of Dreams. She further added if people are interested in showbiz and artistic book then they should read David Lynch’s Catching The Big Fish and many more.
