India WINS Under-19 World Cup: Big B, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Priety Zinta & Riteish Deshmukh Congratulate The Team

It’s a big day for India as the under-19 Cricket team has outclassed Australia by 8 wickets and is now bringing the world cup home. The entire country is happy and celebrating. Bollywood celebrities have also started tweeting about this victory.

Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor were the first few ones to express their pleasure. Other celebrities like Preity Zinta, Ritesh Deshmukh also took to Twitter to congratulate the team.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “T 2603 -YEEEAAAHHHHHHHH !!  #INDIACHAMPIONS  !! UNDER 19 WORLD CRICKET CHAMPIONS  .. THE ONLY NATION TO HAVE WON 4 TIMES !! AMAZING ! Well done India U19 cricket, you have given us such pride and joy ! INDIA ! INDIA ! INDIA ..गूँज रहा है विश्व भर में !!”


Shah Rukh Khan, who said that he will be glued to the television during the game, too expressed his joy. “Wow. What a proud moment for young India. Well done lil ones…May u keep conquering the world. And keep playing FIFA ...on the side. A great morning,” he wrote on Twitter.


Anil Kapoor too was elated with the performance of the team and congratulated them.


Preity Zinta wrote, “Congrats to the U19 Boys in Blue 🇮🇳 for winning the #CWCU19👏👏 Loved the celebration 😀 Rahul Dravid take a bow. #INDvAUS #kalra #undefeated.”


Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, “#ManjotKalra you beauty #TeamIndia the champions. The WALL #RahulDravid stands tall in this victory. Congratulations !! वाह!! दिल जीत लिया.....#U19WorldCup.”

Mirzya actress Saiyami Kher also applauded the effort of the team.


Neerja director Atul Kasbekar hailed the coach Rahul Dravid for the victory. He posted, “Draaaaaaavvvviiiiiiiidddddd Draaaaaaavvvviiiiiiiidddddd...(Repeat) Awesome Play Lads World Champions In your house Aussie #U19CWC.”

Ex-cricketer Zaheer Khan, also tweeted and applauded the effort of the team. “A big congratulations to the young guns of Indian cricket on winning the under19 Cricket World Cup !! #U19CWC,” he wrote.


India’s ex-skipper Anil Kumble also congratulated the winners.
