Now, the D-day is here. The couple's wedding will take place at Farhan's father Javed Akhtar and his wife Shabana Azmi's Khandala farmhouse Sukoon.
Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi are super active on social media. The couple often share pictures from their farmhouse. A couple of weeks ago, the veteran actress shared a picture from their home on Instagram. She wrote in the caption, "Chalo dildar chalo chaand ke paar chalo... at sukoon." Last year, Farah Khan shared a video of her kids taking a dip in the pool at the farmhouse. She thanked Javed Akhtar. She wrote, "Perfect end to a perfect day... birthday celebrations continue... covid style... with 2 friends #sukoon... the most beautiful house... thank you @jadakhtar."
Back in the past, Shabana Azmi had shared a photo on Gudi Padwa that gives a glimpse of the beautiful farmhouse. She wrote in the caption, "Celebrating #GudiPadwa at Sukoon."
Farhan and Shibani's wedding was confirmed by Javed Akhtar. Speaking to Bombay Times, he had revealed, "Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, shaadi ki taiyyariyan hain that is being taken care of by the wedding planners. Taking the situation into consideration it is obvious that we cannot host anything on a large scale. So, we are only calling a few people. It will be a very simple affair."
