Shah Rukh Khan is on cloud nine as he’s currently enjoying his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders matches in Dubai. Ever since the cricket fiesta started cricket lovers are glued to their television sets every evening. Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals has elected to bat in their game against Royal Rajasthan. Today, October 14 marks KKR’s former skipper Gautam Gambhir’s birthday. As Gautam turns 39 today, he received a special wish from KKR team owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Taking to Twitter, Shah Rukh Khan shared Gautam’s pictures when he was part of KKR and sent him warm birthday wishes as he turns a year older. Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “For all the lovely moments and leadership you showed my friend. A very happy birthday to you,” acknowledge the birthday wishes, Gambhir thanked the superstar and wrote, “Thank you so much for the faith & love over the yrs! One of the best times ever! Cheers!”

The first picture sees Gautam Gambhir holding the IPL Winner Cup, while the next sees him in the cricket gear while holding his bat in the air. Recently, we saw Shah Rukh Khan enjoying KKR’s match in an empty stadium in Dubai. Following the safety protocols, SRK, who was accompanied by daughter Suhana Khan, was seen sporting a black mask paired. Suhana and SRK were seen twinning in white t-shirts carrying KKR’s logo on it.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has been on a sabbatical post-Aanand L Rai directorial Zero’s release. Zero, which co-starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, bombed at the box-office.
