Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan enjoys a huge fanbase on social media. She is one of the most-loved star kids on the internet, who loves staying away from the limelight. She had made the headlines almost a year ago when she got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, now fiance Nupur Shikhare. The couple had hosted an intimate and beautiful get together for their familines and friends to celebrate this milestone. Now, she has opened up about when they will be tying the knot.
Ever since Nupur and Ira announced their engagement, a year ago, netizens have been left wondering when they will be getting married. In a recent interview, when asked about the same, the 26-year-old revealed that while they know what date they want to marry, they are yet to decide on the year. Talking about the significance of the date, January 3, she revealed that it was the first time they kissed. She told ETimes, “We know that we want to get married on January 3, but which year... we haven’t decided on that. For the unversed, Nupur is a fitness coach, who has trained Bollywood celebrities like Sushmita Sen and Aamir Khan. On the other hand, Ira made her directorial debut in 2019 with the stage production ‘Euripides' Medea,’ an adaptation of Euripides' Greek tragedy Medea. Apart from this, she also launched Agastu Foundation, which aims to help and support people battling with mental health issues. Ira is Aamir’s only daughter from his first wife, Reena Dutta. They also have a son, Junaid Khan. After his first divorce, Aamir got married again to Kiran Rao. The couple, who are now divorced, welcomed their son, Azad, through surrogacy in 2011. Ira is happily engaged to her longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare since November 2022.
