One of the finest actors in Bollywood, Irrfan Khan breathed his last today morning after his health deteriorated due to Neuroendocrine Tumour and Colon infection. He was diagnosed with this rare disease two years ago but today, he lost his battle to this fatal disease. Even though he has left us and we are mourning his death, it is impossible to forget this gem as well as his remarkable work. He has done some diverse roles in the past but the one role which was quite like a breath of fresh air was his romance with Deepika Padukone in Shoojit Sircar’s Piku. Undoubtedly, this film is one of the most memorable films of Irrfan’s career where he played the patient and resourceful businessman Rana Chaudhary.
But did you know how he brought the sizzling chemistry with Deepika, how did he evoke his romantic side in this film? Well, he used to some intense workshops to bring out chemistry and that is push-ups. Yes, this particular workout has encouraged him for chemistry workshops with Deepika Padukone. In an old interview with Zoom TV, the actor told, in his defence that an actor in Hollywood used to do push-ups after every shot. To which Deepika jokingly said that the actor did not be doing for chemistry but Irrfan did for the chemistry.
Adding more to it, he also expressed his views on the idea of love where he recalled a teenage memory which will definitely bring a smile in your face and will make you remember his sense of humour. He said that idea of love which he was thinking was completely different when he was in a relationship with a girl in his teen days. We will miss this humour terrifically.
