Irrfan Khan, who was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumor in 2018 passed away this morning. He was and will always be one of the most loved actors. After treating the deadly C in London, the actor had returned to India and had shot for Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan, Ranvir Shorey, Dimple Kapadia and Kiku Sharda. While the Internet is flooded with people’s condolences Tweets, his Saath Khoon Maaf co-star Priyanka Chopra has taken to Twitter to pay her condolences.

Priyanka Chopra shared a still from their film Saat Khoon Maaf and wrote an emotional note alongside. She Tweeted, “The charisma you brought to everything you did was pure magic. Your talent forged the way for so many in so many avenues.. You inspired so many of us. #IrrfanKhan you will truly be missed. Condolences to the family.” A while back, we told you the actor’s cremation will take place today at Versova at 3 PM.

Aamir Khan took to Twitter and wrote an emotional note about the actor. “Very sad to hear about our dear colleague Irrfan. How tragic and sad. Such a wonderful talent. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Thank you Irrfan for all the joy you have brought to our lives through your work. You will be fondly remembered. Love. a,” read his Tweet.

While Shahid Kapoor tweeted, “It’s so sad to hear about #IrfanKhan passing away. I have learned so much from him as an actor just by sharing screen space with him. A truly gifted actor. And a wonderful man. He really has #GoneTooSoon I’m sure the heavens have saved a special place for him.”

Hrithik Roshan tweeted, “I had not more than a couple of conversations with you Irfan but I have a tear in my eye as I type this .You were a rare human being. I will miss you. Thank you for showing me what being authentic truly means. RIP.”


Shilpa Shetty shared a still from a press con with the actor from Life In A Metro promotions. She wrote, “I’m numb today... I haven’t been able to accept the loss of a brilliant co-actor & a fabulous person that @irrfank was! We’ve lost a gem today... but his legacy will live on through the phenomenal body of work that he has left behind. Rest in peace, Irrfan! #IrrfanKhan”
