Is Aamir Khan To Be Blamed For South Superstar Vijay Sethupati's Exit From Laal Singh Chaddha? Reports Suggest Otherwise
Contrary to rumours, Aamir Khan is not responsible for South superstar Vijay Sethupathi's exit from Laal Singh Chaddha; know the real reason inside.
Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha was among one of the most anticipated films of 2020; however, the ongoing pandemic turned out to be the reason behind its delay. The film's shooting was postponed and only recently, Aamir and Kareena wrapped up their parts. Interestingly, south superstar Vijay Sethupati, too, was expected to be seen in a special appearance in the film. However, it was then reported that Vijay has exited. This news instantly gave birth to the rumours of Aamir Khan being the reason behind the south superstar's ouster. But is it true? A report in ETimes rubbishes this claim.
As per the portal, the reason was Vijay's busy schedule clashing with that of the dates he had allotted for Laal Singh Chaddha. Soon after Vijay confronted Advait and Aamir about the same, they graciously acknowledged. A source close to the South film industry told the portal, "Aamir and Advait had chosen Vijay Sethupathi for a reason. They knew what they wanted and what they were doing. Vijay's exit is certainly not for he not able to shed weight." They added, "Vijay expressed his unavailability to Advait and there was no animosity." We hope this clears the air!
Meanwhile, Laal Singh Chaddha is an official Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump and also stars Mona Singh in a pivotal role. Well, rumours are rife that superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, too, will be making special appearances in the films. There, however, has been no official confirmation on the same. We can't wait to see it on the big screens already!
